Dr. Rhiannon Fenton, DVM

Dr. Rhiannon Fenton grew up in sunny Southern California on the Palos Verdes Peninsula. Her fascination for animals was exhibited at a very young age with her family's German Shepherd. Her love towards all animals developed very quickly and from the age of five she knew she wanted to become a veterinarian. Throughout her life she has been steadfast in her dedication to animals whether it involved rescuing them, volunteering in the shelters, starting her own horse training business, or navigating the rigorous academic world in order to pursue her veterinary license. In 2012, she graduated from Western University of Health Sciences Veterinary Medical School with her DVM. Shortly thereafter, she completed veterinary chiropractic certification at Options for Animals Chiropractic School. Her education will surely continue for she is planning on becoming certified in veterinary acupuncture very soon! Dr. Fenton has always had an affinity for alternative methods of healing and integrating them with traditional medicine. While traditional medicine seeks to treat the symptoms, alternative medicine supports the body in its innate ability to overcome its ailments and target the underlying cause. She believes the combination of the two provides a synergistic and holistic approach to bringing the body back to health. Dr. Fenton designs custom-tailored treatment plans incorporating traditional medicine, homeopathy, Chinese herbs, chiropractic, flower essences and aromatherapy. This is where her passion and success are greatest—finding just the right balance for each patient.
