Brisa was born in Murrieta, California and had her first cat at three. It was named Feline. She's loved animals ever since and grew up with two cats, four dogs, three horses, twelve chickens, and a pot belly pig named Winnie. After high school she moved to Northridge and is in her third year at Cal State Northridge majoring in Journalism. When Brisa's not at work or in school she's probably at the beach or at home cleaning up after her mischievous nine month old Siamese, Belle. Brisa's plans are to live in Ventura County and write children's books involving animals and their antics because: "They do the funniest things."
