Glass privacy doors and individual climate and lighting controls provide the ultimate relaxation, while in-suite flat screen televisions broadcast a variety of animal programming. Personal "snoutcams" broadcast 24-hours per day and give owners continual access to their pets via the Internet. A nighttime tuck-in tummy rub, a bedtime story and a refreshing spritz of bottled water provide the perfect ending to each day. Truly for our most discerning guests!

Each suite combines modern touches with traditional charm by featuring elegant wrought ironwork, floral decor, upgraded bedding and more. The Barkley's Leisure Suites represent a new innovative design and have set the new industry standard for basic pet hospitality. Also termed our "traditional guest rooms", each Leisure Suites is handsomely appointed with traditional touches and a pleasing color palette. Glass privacy doors and side panels reduce unwanted noise for the ultimate comfort and relaxation. With at least 24 square feet of living space and a clear view of our continual television entertainment, our Leisure Suites are a nice, comfortable choice for most pet guests. Who says bigger is better? These charming and private accommodations are carefully designed for pups and small breeds (25 pounds and under). Located in a small, serene environment, these "pawpular" guest rooms are insulated from larger breeds. Their glass privacy windows reduce unwanted noise to ensure a stress-free and memorable stay. Community television programming provides continual entertainment.

For your feline family pets we offer multi-level cat condos. Kitty City was completely custom designed to provide the highest level and comfort for your feline family pet. Individual air ducts will assure your cat is comfortable and enjoys a clean and odor free environment. These condos offer views of the outside, lobby and our custom made salt water tank which provides continuous entertainment along with 3 video screens to provide additional stimulation.

Additional living space is available for those who would like their family's pets (of the same species) to stay together. The Barkley offers a 30% discount on the rate for each additional pet in the same suite. Specific room requests are honored on a space available basis and cannot be guaranteed. The Barkley offers discounted pre-paid boarding packages. Discount packages begin at 20 nights, have no expiration date, and are not subject to seasonal and variable rate changes! Therefore, if you feel you will be using 20 nights or more for your pet, this is a convenient and less-expensive way to stay at The Barkley.
